Operation Miranda: Leonard Lake

• On June 2nd, 1985 Ng Chi-tat fled a hardware store after attempting to steal a vice. Throwing into the waiting trunk of a nearby car, he disappeared on foot. When police arrived and questioned the driver of the car, Leonard Lake, was searched and arrested. After Lake committed suicide days later, the police began looking into the activities of he and Ng, the story that began to unfold was like a living nightmare. This week we look into the early life of Leonard Lake and the events that led him to murder an estimated 25 people.
