Few outlaws of the old west are more famous or infamous than William McCarty, alias Billy the kid. From books, movies, and songs, he has inspired American  culture and our collective imagination for well over 100 years. This week we will be looking at his life, crimes, and eventual death at the hands of Pat Garrett.
